Many times we come across the need to convert images to text which should be editable, or we may need to convert some scanned copy/screenshot into text, so that it can be edited in our regular editors. Here i will tell you a way to convert your image files to editable text documents for FREE using Google Docs and Drive.
First upload your image file to Google Drive.
This will open the image file in Google Docs with both the image and converted text from the image file.
Delete the image by selecting image right click>Cut
Save the rest of the editable text extracted from the image and download it as Microsoft Word Document.
Enjoy so now you have converted the image file to an editable text document and that too free.
You can use the same trick to convert pdfs to word also.
