Facebook owned Whatsapp has been rolling out many new features for its beta version of the android app. It has recently come up with the feature to re-download the deleted media like photos, videos and audios.
Till now whenever we deleted the downloaded media from our gallery, there is no way to re-download them. But now with this feature whatsapp users can re-download the deleted media files provided the original message was not deleted and the media will not be older than 3 months.
This feature has been rolled out for the users using the beta version of the app. Beta version is a program which once joined by anyone then they can enjoy the early updates for the app before it got rolled out for all the users.
How to join the beta program for WhatsApp.
1. Goto playstore and search for whatsapp and click it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom and click I'M IN.
3. After a few seconds you will recieve a notification confirming that you became a beta tester and a new update is available.
4. Update the whatsapp by clicking on update in playstore.
5. Enjoy the new features before it got rolled out for others as you are a beta tester.
