WhatsApp is the leading instant messaging app and almost all the smartphone users uses it to deliver text messages to their family and friends. It is however annoying that to send a message to someone the number should be saved in your phone's address book.
There are many occasions when you want to send a few messages to someone but you have to save their contacts in order to send WhatsApp message to them. In today's trick I will tell you how to send WhatsApp message to a number without saving the number to the phone’s address book.
Please follow the below steps:
- Open any web browser like Google Chrome in your phone.
- Type the following link in the search bar: https://API.whatsapp.com/send?phone=XXXXXXXXXX (replace Xs with the number you want to send the WhatsApp message but without +,0 or - at the beginning of the no.)
- It means if you want to send message to a US number it would be like: https://API.whatsapp.com/send?phone=19176660145
- Press Enter on the phone.
- WhatsApp window will open asking if you want to send a message to the phone number.
- Press send message.
- You will be redirected to WhatsApp app with the start chatting window to the number you provided in the URL.
Voila so you are able to chat with a person on WhatsApp without saving his/her contact number.
