Facebook owned WhatsApp is coming with several new features now a days. Today we will show you the feature using which you can hide the media from selected contacts or groups to show up in the gallery.
This feature is made available to the WhatsApp beta users and may be available to all the users in the near future. So the beta users can use this functionality to hide the media from a particular contact/group to show up in the gallery.
Please follow the below steps in order to hide the media from gallery
- Open the WhatsApp contact for which you want to hide the media from gallery.
- Tap on the name on the top to open contact information.
- Scroll down and click on Media Visibility.
- Select No and click OK.
The above steps will stop the media from that particular contact to show up in the phone's gallery. So you can use this handy feature to stop the media from selected contacts.
